Jack Kearins and Gain Bunten promoted to the role of Principal

Widelity, a leading provider of telecommunications consulting services, announced today that Jack Kearins and Gain Bunten have been promoted to the role of Principal. 

 “With the Addition of Jack Kearins and Gain Bunten, Widelity significantly expands the scope of our team,” said David Wiley, Widelity president. “Jack and Gain bring deep industry experience and extensive client relationships to our senior team. Their respective knowledge and skills strengthen Widelity’s ability meet client needs and expand our client s services.”

Mr. Kearins has over 30 years of telecom experience, both domestically and internationally, and has held positions in operations, engineering, service management and project management. Prior to joining Widelity, Mr. Kearins served as Director of Professional Services with Verilink, and as a Senior Project Manager with AT&T International Data Services.  While with AT&T, Mr. Kearins was the lead Customer Care project manager for the Alestra Project which was an AT&T joint venture to launch a new telecommunications company in Mexico.

Mr. Kearins has expertise developing, planning and implementing projects and programs which improve Profit-to-Loss ratios and increase efficiency enhance productivity and deliver corporate and client expectations in both domestic and international arenas.

He has a BA in Management from National Louis University and a MS in Project Management from George Washington University.  He is a Six Sigma Black Belt, certified PMP and is a veteran of the United States Air Force.

Mr. Bunten has over 25 years of Telecommunications and Information Technology management experience specializing in communications product development and services industries. Prior to joining Widelity, Mr. Bunten managed his own consulting firm serving clients in the voice and IP industries and was Director of Service Development for Cable & Wireless’ Global Markets division serving large multinational clients in North America, Europe, and Asia.

Mr. Bunten’s background includes communications product development as a member of the development management teams at Alcatel Data Networks and Sprint International. A service operations veteran with a sound grasp of operations process development including ITIL and business continuity practices, he is well versed in all business components representing the managed services industry.

Mr. Bunten has a Masters in Telecommunication from The George Washington University and a BA in English/Journalism from the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts.
